Netflix docuseries set at Gallaudet University.
I make films for causes that matter. Ten years behind the camera for Netflix, National Geographic, and the Obama Foundation.
Every frame is a decision. As a director of photography, I build images that hold attention without asking for it. Natural light when it serves the story. Controlled light when it does not.
I shoot on the Sony Cinema Line and finish in DaVinci Resolve. From documentary sets to brand campaigns, the standard is the same. The image has to earn its place on screen.
I produce with one question in mind. What does the audience need to feel? Everything else, the gear, the schedule, the budget, works backward from that answer.
A decade of production has taken me from campus stories at Gallaudet to a Netflix docuseries to federal campaigns. Different scales. Same discipline. A Master's in Producing Film, TV, and Video from American University sharpens the business side of that craft.
Education. Health. Civic life. Sports. Community. I work with organizations doing good work, and I make films that move audiences to act. Any cause. Any audience.
My visual first approach comes from directing in ASL. It makes every frame clearer, for everyone. Through Cine55, my production company, that clarity reaches every deliverable.
